Systems Strength Analysis aka “Muscle Testing”

One of the basic tenets of holistic health is understanding that we are a spirit living in a human body. Pure energy flows through us—energy measurable by frequency. One of the ways of measuring this energy is through muscle testing.

Muscle testing, a technique pioneered by Dr. Richard Versendaal and further developed by Dr. George Goodheart, involves a compilation of non-invasive techniques that provide information about the energized status of the body and its various organs, glands, and systems. Using the body's muscle system as a barometer, this technique accesses various meridians and contact points to check for integrity of energy flow.

In muscle testing, the practitioner touches one of the contact surface reflex points, introducing energy in order to challenge that system or organ's integrity.  If the organ or system tests weak by the challenge, it is interpreted as a loss of energy and adequacy. Weakness does not equate to a diagnosis of a disease or condition. Rather, weakness may reveal areas of need, wherein the body can then be cleansed, strengthened, or repaired.

The best defense is a good offense, and muscle testing truly functions as a form of prevention by finding weaknesses before they manifest as illness. Learning how to read labels to determine quality supplements is also part of this modality.
