Why Are They Called "Essential Oils"?

Webster's dictionary defines essential as that which is indispensable or necessary, as well as that containing or constituting a volatile essence that imparts the characteristic order of a plant. Both definitions fit the essence and enticement of essential oils.

Our Creator gave us medicine in plants, herbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees. The chemistry of this vegetation can support our body’s chemistry, and their vibrational frequencies can aid in raising our body’s frequency. The best way to utilize these various life-giving plants is through their life-blood—their oils. For example, the Higher Power gave Moses a formula of four oils to help sustain the people of Israel for their journey through the desert. Today, science tells us that those and other oils of pure quality are highly antibacterial, antiviral, antimicrobial, and immune-stimulating.

Distillation of organic vegetation to produce a pure oil is God-given medicine. When plants are properly distilled into oils and used in their purest form, these essential oils can support our physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual healing.

These oils have been my medicine for 27 years. May I share my knowledge of essential oils with you?
